change has come to America...

...and God only knows the world needs change.

Congratulations, Obama. The world is watching, waiting and praying you follow through with your promises. I, for one, think you'll do well.

Couldn't agree more. Hope he makes the difference that the world is hoping he will (and doesn't turn out to be just another politician at heart!)

Isn't it bizarre - but here we are in Australia beside ourselves with excitement too - we were glued to CNN yesterday and were just frantic with delight. He really does have the opportunity to bring such positive change to the world! :-)

It's such a relief. They did actually survey and found he would win "hands-down" in Australia.

I really do hope he can follow through on the (most of) the rhetoric.

McCain was v.gracious.

Expectations are very high for him, so there is bound to be some disappointment. We need to keep intentions in mind, as well.

I got so teary.... LOL

Kitty, my first thought too. I can see him being in very real danger very early on and America losing 'the one' that could very possibly have made a huge difference to the world.

I hope he is protected and has a crack team around him. Seems very genuine and a thoroughly sensible politician ...
