a year of dolls

so this is it, the end of 2008 and on we go to 2009.
I've had a great year, it's been a whole lot fun. I tried quilting for the first time, and got hooked. Next year I intend to master the actual quilting part of it, not just the patchworky bit...I've got a long way to go.
I also intend to get busting my fabric stash. Although a FQ swap might be a way of mixing it up a bit, if anyone's interested?
Have a great night tonight, whatever you're doing. We have friends round, I have to make the beds first, I've cleaned the house, even got rid of the balls of fluff that were growing behind the doors, and under the sofa. Nice.
Shall I see you next year? I hope so, I really like having you around.

Have a great New Year's Eve. We are having a quiet one this year although Berlin always goes firework crazy at midnight. It is like a war zone here so I odubt there will be much sleeping.

The 2008 dolls are lovely! Nature Girl's doll is happily sitting on our bench today welcoming any visitors. Thank you for creating her for us! We love her! You are so amazingly creative and talented!

I know how you feel with regard to "fluff" - I've been ridding my house of it too today as we have family staying over.
I too have caught the quilting bug and have plans to finally turn some of my stash into something useful and lovely!!
DD takes "Little Evie" to bed everynight - and she even came to Egypt with us in the Summer.
