Hope organised a wonderful Christmassy swap and my partner, Amy certainly knows how to stuff a stocking full of great stuff! The stocking itself is wonderful - natural linen with a patchwork tree applique and red pom pom trim. It contained so much stuff - some of it I have hidden away for Miss G's own stocking (oil pastels, ink stamp and pad). The candy canes are mine - no sharing, sorry kids, the decorations are hung on the tree, and the cookie cutters will be used for when we make gingerbread next week (and I try very hard not to mess it up...)
And this is what I sent Amy...
a little baby quilt (because she is pregnant with baby number 1)
a gingerbread man tin, with gingerbread kit
a little bag containing christmas decorations
a lindt chocolate reindeer (because Christmas isn't Christmas without those, same as Easter isn't Easter without the bunny version)
a candle (I buy a lot of these, I love them)
some christmassy badges
and what you can't see is a book, 'twas the night before christmas', because we read it every year on Christmas eve, and I love the rhyme

lovely christmas goodies - and wasn't that the best swap ever! It was such fun to put together and so wonderful to receive - I received mine from Hope - and she included the sorts of things I could never buy here in Australia so it was just magic! And the fact that someone from so far away whom I have never met, filled a stocking for me for Christmas. Who could not love this bloggy world! :-)

what a great lot of pressies yummy....I have just read your previous post about the wicked witch...outrageous !! she reminds me of Whitneys yr 3 teacher she was so awful we actually left the school 'cos of her she actually bullied Whitney ( not my opinion but some of the other parents who told me what their children were telling them) I just knew that my child had changed,making herself vomit so they would send her home!!( a trait which lasted through teenage years her response to stress!!)so please keep this going till you get a resolution I would ask for a face to face with her & her head, thats what I did in the end, I had already decided to pull the kids out but it made me feel better ( she got the sack the next year when all the classes parents went to the head!!)one thing I do remember her telling the kids was that it hurt ladies to have a baby 'cos Eve was so wicked & it was Gods punishment on women!!!

I love the Christmas tree on that stocking. Would be cute on an Advent. I'll add the quilting people's links to my blog later in the week and will check back to see whatcha' are up to.
