I finished the baby quilt kit I got from Saffron's website. I even followed Fi's tutorial for the binding and did the quilting, then washed it, and dried it, and then stitched the binding on. I liked it...it seemed a bit of a weird way to do it, but I'm converted. Hoorah for Fi.
Now I need to have a baby....HUSBAND, come here, get busy!!!!

Saffron's website for the hand printed fabrics. She has a sale on the elephant panels too, $8 a panel instead of $15, and that's Oz dollars too, so us Brits get a good deal on the exchange rate. Plus there are pink, blue or red elephants to choose from. Go on, get yourselves off...

very cute!! I had a quick look at the binding tutorial and am feeling skeptical about washing the quilt before binding but it might be worth a try.
Now, go get on with making little ginger-monkey people to enjoy that gorgeous quilt.

That quilt is fabulous. You must keep this one and leave it lying around the house and bellyache about, Where is my baby?, to husband. He'll soon oblige, as a crafty whinging woman will be hard to take. I'll now be taking myself over to Fi's blog. I need major help in the binding department.
