my brush with fame

Oh, look - there it is, sat in all it's glory, Donkey watching over it. Do you wanna peek inside?

Now, that's a familiar tattoo, isn't it? Justine asked for a pic of it, and I was grateful she didn't ask for one of my face because then I'd have had to try and sit and look professional.

In the interview I witter on about all sorts of things - my family, my addiction to fabric, making stuff when I was little. I think it's quite interesting, I hope so, at least.

How about a giveaway then? We can have a little celebration.
As you can see I haven't quite managed to finish the prize yet. It's a work in progress, but you get the idea, right?

One gloriously lucky winner will receive a (finished) grocery tote bag, 5 co-ordinating fat quarters (4 of which are Amy Butler, the other is a solid), some matching lace trim, and (of course) a copy of mixtape.

Leave a comment and I'll make the draw after the weekend!

Hmm, maybe Grace will be like your brother and Leo will be like his mum!

One day when he's making designer clothes and in demand, he can make stuff for his mum!

And Grace will be either a fine artist or an illustrator like Rima at the Hermitage or Jackie of We Three Cats...

Hi Lovely Katy, I know it's a been a while...I have certainly been MIA haven't I? I have good excuse, I am pregnant with #5 and as I slowly make my way past the 12 week hurdle I seem to be also saying good-bye to all day long nausea and just general yuckiness:( Hopefully, that will mean I can return to blogging and crafting soon, it has just been so hard!

I saw your article a couple of weeks ago when I received my copy of mixed tape and was very excited to see you in there, it's a great interview. Congratulations!!!

You don't need to include me in your draw as I already have the Mag!

I hope to be in contact more often from now on...

Take care my lovely bloggy friend,

Tam xo

Super cool tatt!! Great vibe from your answers. Just hang for my copy of Mixtape to arrive in the mail, and then sat in bed that night and read the whole thing in one sitting! Have followed your blog through other Melbourne blogs and was stoked to see you in this edition. If my name is picked as the winner, I want you to give the mag to someone that hasn't a copy yet but I want that gorgeous bag to hang off my shoulder when I go to the market!! Thanks for sharing your world with us.
