and the winner is.....

I will never be able to figure out how to do that screen grab thing for the number generator. I'm sure it's obvious, but I'm only just getting used to having a Mac, and doing things the Mac way.

So, who is number 8? It's Laura J! Congratulations, Laura J, I'll email you with the details and you can go shopping (although not until after the weekend, because Dana is off doing fun thanksgiving stuff).

Do you know what I'm thankful for? All of you - everyone that stops by and reads my blog, I'm doubly thankful for those of you that leave comments. I truly am.

I think I'm going to take a few days off, try and get some stuff finished and crossed off the list, so I shall see you next week.

Have a wonderful thanksgiving.

Happy thanksgiving to you - wish I could have turkey and all the trimmings tomorrow. Love a good roast dinner. Oh well, not long to wait for our big celebration meal with sprouts, and brandy butter. (Not together though)

We don't do Thanksgiving over here, but Happy Thanksgiving anyway! :) Congrats to the winner, just had a peek at her blog and I'm sure she will find some pretty quilt fabrics to buy!

If you have a newer Mac, there is a utility called, well, Grab that lets you do screen captures to a jpeg or whatnot. Before Grab, I always had to search for the command. Which is apparently command-shift-4 to get the crosshairs to select what you want to capture (rather than a whole screen capture which is command-shift-3). I won't bore you with more. Just trying to be helpful.

am pretty sure a screen shot is apple key + shift + f3. how are you doing?, we really must do an ikea meet up, i have been car-less for ages, all sorted now though!

Grab only works if Apple thinks it's an acceptable thing to take a picture of. :-/ Otherwise you have to the command-shift-3(or 4) thing.

Katy have you tried "command + shift + 3" for your screen grab? It's the only Mac way I know.
And we're thankful for you too Katy! Have a great weekend, stay dry and warm. J x
