The dresden plate returns. She's spent a little while at the
quilters and had a lovely time.
I don't think I need to say anything. You can just see for yourselves....

the back....

Needless to say, I am in love.
Now for binding. But I'll just sit and stare at her for a while first, if that's ok.

Needless to say, I am in love as well! And the back is almost as pretty as the front!
Smelling salts, I need some. That is breathtaking! Enjoy your creation you clever girl!
Oh - I forgot to say "Good job" to whoever is standing on the wall holding it!
Oooo Katy...I'm speechless! As Michele said..it's breathtaking. Everything about it, I love the dark background to make those plates jump out, the little circles in between, the divine backing with its own special dresden, the amazing quilting. Wow xo
Senbloodysational!
Just gorgeous! I, too, am in love, from afar.
Yep , all of the above !!
I really love it !!
I'll be right over to stare at it with you!
Dresden love, alright! What an amazing quilting job, and it appears to be in two colours of thread, to boot! Will you bind in the charcoal....or?
Note: I am a little concerned about the gentleman in the background of photo #1 who appears to be getting ready to shoot a baby between the eyes with a water pistol.
Making me want one for myself! Beautiful job on the quilting!
Katy, this is absolutely freaking gorgeous! I love it.
It's simply amazing Katy. What is the binding to be??
Stunning quilt - I love the quilting, especially the border!
I've been anxiously awaiting seeing this finished ever since I spied early WIP pics of it on flickr. It's AMAZING. In my mind it beats the quilt Denyse Schmidt uses to showcase Hope Valley. Yes, I said that! And the quilting is breathtaking. GREAT JOB!!

oh you did good! i just finished my dresden plate (also from material obsession) and am now contemplating what to do--not wanting to spring for professional quilting but i'm not that good on my own machine--and mine is huge--i set it 5x5 blocks instead of 6x4. your quilt is spectacular! sigh...
