I promised it a while ago and then I got distracted by the Single Girl quilt along and all sorts of other stuff but I finally got this little pillow finished and I even mastered buttonholes in the process (which has me excited beyond all excitedness). This baby is a big girl - in the pic there's a 20 inch pillow insert inside her, but you could go up to 22 inch, for that full belly look. I like my pillows a bit squishy, just like my bum. She is made with liberty print tana lawns and kona raisin, with a button opening on the back and 2 vintage mother of pearl buttons. She comes with complimentary cat hair. So if you are not a cat person - first up, what are you doing here? I'll chase you out with a stick, and secondly, I'm sorry - my cats seek out quilty stuff and will sit on it. Cat hair is an obligatory addition to everything (much to the husbeasts annoyance).

Beautiful cushion, I love the contrasting binding. Everything in my house is covered in cat hair from my fur babies. They check all my quilts at every stage of the process.

Love the pillow! All of my quilty things come with cat and dog hair, my cat does the same thing as yours and the dogs hair just seems to stick to anything I don't want it to.
Love it...and the bonus cat hair might mean my dogs finally leave a pretty cushion alone! (Or probably not).

Lol, my quilty gifts always come with "free cat hair"... doesnt matter how vigilantly I police the fabric, she always finds a way... Lovely single girl, really wishing I'd machine quilted mine, my fingers are killing me and I've still got 2 halves, 4 quarters and some middles to stitch...

Cat hair - bring it on! I have 'quite a number' of the furry ones myself. Love the cushion - one of these days I'm going to try buttonholes.

allergic to cats, but love the pillow! my fluffers (bichon frise canines) leave me lots of white hairs to pick off of my navy blue clothing . . . adore 'em as much as i loved my sealpoint siamese from childhood (significant contributor to the aforementioned allergies).
Oh wow. It's beautiful and Kona raisin is a current favorite of mine. It's central to a quilt top I'm planning for the "Naked Bed" challenge so it's quite easy to say that this would be well-loved here in my home. As for cats, I love them and, oddly enough so does my big, goofy dog. -- Amy

Cat hair to stitchers is known as 'another speciality fibre' like silk or wisper. Dog hairs are just the same so we have no problems with it in this house!
