Aurifil thread anyone?

Lynne has teamed up with the delicious Alex Veronelli at Aurifil threads and has a really fun contest for you. If you're missing the bloggers bundle then you need to get in on this one.

Just for fun I made my own collection, which I would use in aurifil thread weight 50 (as it's my favourite). It's based on this collection of fabrics that is coming in June and is Bari J Ackerman's debut collection with Art Gallery fabrics. Why pick threads to match Bari's fabrics, you ask? Well, I'm planning something really fun with them and Fat Quarterly, and you guys too, so if you like this quilt and this one that Lynne is making at the minute then you might be in for a treat. (but that's all I can say for now!)



My thread colours are;
top row (L-R) - 5018, 4020, 2710
middle row - 2630, 2620, 2540
third row - 2515, 1135, 1147
bottom row - 1148, 1248, 2026

They're designed for perfect machine piecing, hand piecing and hand applique. On those lovely orange spools.
