That is I will be if my passport comes in time.
I finished the quilting on this little quilt yesterday, and now just need to bind it (I'm waiting on binding fabric). Then this little quilty can come to market too and hang out with their friends in the Cloud 9 booth.

I've been trying to make a mental list of what to look for there. If there is anything you want to see in particular, any new line of fabric you want me to grab pictures of then let me know and I'll do my best.
After market last year in our Fat Quarterly round up and newsletter (if you don't subscribe to the newsletter you should, the post market edition was pretty awesome. Even if I do say so myself) I predicted organic fabrics would continue to rise and gain a really strong footing in the industry.
Cloud 9 have recently moved into new premises (actual business premises with offices and the like!) and of all the booths theirs is the one I am most excited to see. The collections they have due for release over this year are so amazing and as people you just want them to become hugely successful.
Monsterz is out now. Here's my advice if you have a child, are thinking you might have one eventually, know someone with a child, are a child at heart - buy this fabric. Seriously, I spent 3 hours straight line quilting yesterday and the boredom was made so much better by these little Monsterz looking at me.
You can find it here and here. Seriously - stock up, you will regret it later if you don't.

I am already getting impatient for Michele's next collection. A happy piratey adventure called Seven Seas. There are pinks for the more feminine pirate (click through here to view more and read more about it on the blog here). Seven Seas ships this Summer.

Alegria is just out. It's shipping now so you can see it popping up in stores like here at Sew Mama Sew. The bird prints are amazing in this collection, it's truly beautiful. Find out more here.

Simpatico is a new collection by Michelle Engel Bensco. To say I'm excited about this is an understatement. I am so desperate to see it in the flesh. So impatient for it coming out. I have a design all planned out for these fabrics - now I just have to wait until the summer. I'll be ok. I can cope. Have a look at the previews on the blog.

So that's who I am most excited to see at market - tell me who you want to see, and if I'm your eyes at market I can get pics and stuff!

Well...ideally I would like you to take a photo of me at Market but I don't think it is going to happen.
Loving the seven seas/piratey fabric.
My kid loves turquoise - I should really get her some of those Monsterz, right? Right. Decision made (any old excuse!!)
Love the Monterz line and will take your advice and get some!!! Have to say the Alegria range is stunning! Enjoy your trip! Fi
MAMA SAID SEW
You may go to SQM as long as you are back for FQR. Loving the piratey fabric too - I know someone about a meter tall who would love some.

I just love the Monsterz line! The colors are fantastic. And I really like Sympatico- a line I've just seen in this post.
I am dying to see Anna Maria's new Field Study line.
So excited for market! My mom and I usually go to Fall market, but my sister is due with a baby that week, so we're going to KC. Hope to see you there!
i'm looking forward the Junecraft line for Cloud 9!!
Really liking the colorways in Simpatico--there's a softness to the colors that goes against the angles of the design that will be fun to play with; can't wait to see what your ideas are.
p.s. According to Amazon, Fat Quarterly Shape Workshop for Quilters: 60 Blocks + a Dozen Quilts and Projects will be in my mailbox tomorrow! yahoo!
Ooh - love the look of that Simpatico line!
I cannot wait for Nightshade by Tula Pink!! I am a dark kind of gal like that!
Simpatico looks very cool. Oh, and in the hopes that you end up in the right state, it's Kansas City, MO (Missouri), not MI (Michigan). :)
Aubrey in Kansas
yay! love the quilt...and maybe we'll see each other at market!
ooops alegria just jumped out at me and told me it needs to sit within my bulging fabric stash! buy mama buy :)
Aubrey has it right ---- but oh, how I wish she were wrong! I would love to see Quilt Market set up shop in MIchigan... {grin} We do have exciting news on my side of the state though --- the AQS quilt show (think Paducah, KY) is coming to Grand Rapids in August. Kind of neat for little ol' West Michigan. {grin}
I am making some samples for Brigitte of ZenChic so you will see them there, but not me. :-(. I love Mama Said Sew! Those little monsters are pretty darn cute, too.
I want a photo of you, Melody Miller and the Ginger Monkeys 45 please x
Ooooh, not at all jealous... I'd love to see the next Lotta Jansdotter line and the new Tula Pink
I love the quilt! So pretty and soft looking. :)
Hope you'll make it to the Modern Quilt Meetup! It will be on Saturday night at the Marriott Tower...co-hosted by the Kansas City and St. Louis Modern Quilt Guilds. It's going to be a blast!
Hmmm, I'm way out of touch with what's due to be shown at QM but I'd be interested in seeing more of Aneela's Sew Stitchy line and in finding out what Lotta Jansdotter is designing next. Oh, and whether Kaufman are thinking of bringing out any new Kona colours. I love your QM quilt - the monsters and the quilting look great!
I just stashed FQ bundles of Monsterz and Maman (hmmm, colors work, should I combine to make monstery babiez??) and yardage of the gingham basics in grass, pink and aqua. I already had fallen in love with Simpatico, but I am definitely going to have to snap up some of these pirates, too! Thanks for sharing!
As for market, please photograph everything! I really appreciated you/FQly's coverage last time.
Oh I love the pirates - look out for Happy zombie and Natalie lymer - take lots of pics and just make us all wish we were there.
They look sweet.

I need Simpatico and Seven Seas. NOW. And I shall wave to you when you're in MO! So close and yet so far!
Loving that Alegria!!
How cute! My quilt with Montsterz is just about done a few rows left to sew. I have loved working with the organic fabric s much. Enjoy KC, be sure and have dinner on the plaza one night. Jack Stack BBQ would be my choice!
I love Monsterz, Cloud 9 are ace :)
Well, I did as I was told and bought an FQ bundle of Monsterz yesterday and it arrived this morning! It is indeed very fab, and I can't wait to see more of Cloud 9's stuff, that seven seas line looks gorgeous. I'd also like to see more of Aneela's sew stitchy line too.
I'll be there too! :D
i've never been to a quilt show before, so, hopefully i know what i'm getting myself into!
Hope to see you there!
Anxiously awaiting a passport here too - for the little guy.
Ooh. Alegria and especially Simpatico make my heart go pitter-patter.
While you are at market are you going to work your magic on the fabric companies for some wide backings? please pretty please. Maybe you can be in charge of picking the designs? That would be fab wouldn't it.
