Here we go again. SV part 4 is underway. It doesn't matter how many 2.5" squares I cut and use, my scrap box never seems to empty, maybe after I've finished this one I'll think of a different scrap quilt using 2.5" squares, but for now this is my go-to scrappy pattern, I love it, it makes me so happy and as boring as sewing all those squares together can be it's unbelievably satisfying too. A quilt made from leftovers is always good, isn't it?

I'm making a scrap quilt out of tumblers. Each scrap is different. It makes me so happy to see all of the different fabrics. Yes, scraps are good!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your SV quilts! I have one in the making but it had to be put aside. I can't wait to get back to it! I hope mine comes out as pretty as yours!
I have that very same problem ~ I think those little scraps multiply and laugh thinking we'll get through them!

Love the flamingos. My scrap box never gets smaller either...I'll probably need to made 4 of these gorgeous SV quilts before I see a dent! Lovely blocks!

yes, love the scrap quilting! I have piles of 2.5'' squares cut for my hexie quilt - and when I'm done with the hexie top, I'll be making a scrap vomit quilt from the leftover squares I'm sure :)

I've got my granddaughter making her own little version of a scrap vomit/sampler quilt right now.
There is very little that makes me happier than using up the scraps!! It's amazingly satisfying, so I totally get where you are coming from!!
I've been cutting 2.5's today...I also found a bag of squares I cut a year ago and never used - I think a SV is in order!! My scraps are out of control - I Think I need to go at em and turn all into pre cut squares - may not seem so overwhelming!!!
I've been cutting 2.5" squares and it has barely made a dent in my scrap bins. It's slightly mortifying.
Have been tidying out a built in wardrobe today (so we can knock it down and make a sewing space for ME!) and am ashamed by the huge numbers of bags of scraps I have. I must SV very soon.
