I'm sure you have all heard of Kerry and Penny, and I'm even more sure that you have at least a couple of their creations on your pinterest boards or flickr favourites. I know I have. I think they are 2 of the most talented sewists out there, and if you're not aware of them or their blogs you really need to add them to your readers right now.
Together they've created an awesome little pattern business called sew ichigo, and Kerry generously offered me 3 sets of patterns to give away.
I am absolutely terrified of paper piecing like this, I could english paper piece all day long, but paper piecing and me do not get on well...although I am determined to overcome my ridiculous fears and make myself a cute little coffee pot block to add to a pouch.
Both Kerry and Penny have a fantastic eye for detail, and they write patterns that are incredibly straightforward and concise. I know that because paper piecing patterns usually confuse the heck out of me and theirs make it sound like I could actually get this nailed without too many tears.
If you'd like to win a set leave a comment and I'll pick 3 winners in a week.
If you are looking for the backstitch giveaway you'll find it here and the Art Gallery giveaway is here. It's giveaway central this week on the blog!!!

I love the food mixer! Couldn't someone cheat and just make some fabric like that?
Don't enter me for the giveaway. I'm not a paper piecing fan and don't "do" patterns.
Ooh lovely pattern. I too am a paper piecing phobic. I aim to overcome this fear though.
me too! I use to come out in hives just thinking about it!! Until one of my friends encouraged me to just go for it. I have only made a few mug rugs but I am now starting to understand how to do it, I still get it wrong but I am not as scared as I use to be. Would love to have a go at these pattterns...though the food mixer may bring me out in hives again!! Linda
Beautiful paper piercing
I had never tried paper-piecing until I signed up for the Littlest Thistle's Foundation Paper Piecing for the Terrified course. I can highly recommend it, and would love to win those patterns now that I am no longer terrified :)

I love Kerry and Penny's blocks, they are super clever. This style of paper piecing high on my list of things to master!
I'm willing to 'give it a go' (I think?!?!) what's the worse that can happen?? Tears, hair pulling, chucking my rotary cutter across the room.......
Ali x
I've just spent the last half hour or so checking out Sew Ichigo and Kerry and Penny's blogs. I love their patterns, would love to win a set. Do you think my Kenwood Chef would mind being dressed in a Kitchen Aid housecoat?
I love these patterns, I'd make a bigger Kitchen Aid mixer block and put that in the kitchen cos there's no room & no money for a real one!!!
I love these patterns and would love to make a coffee pot/tea kettle mini for my friend's studio - I think it would look great above her little kitchen area!
Oooh yes please! I could definitely also use some help in this area :)
I didn't think I would like paper piecing until I tried it at FQR and once I got my head around it I do really love it! For some patterns I think there isn't a sensible way to get such an accurate and crisp result, even with careful cutting. These patterns look lovely!
The teapot would be fantastic for a project I have in mind!
I love their patterns and have been too much of a wuss to try them
I love what Kerry and Penny are creating and would so welcome a chance to try out their kitchen patterns!
Love those. I just tried paper piecing for the first time yesterday and would love to try these.
I Love their stuff. I am the proud owner of a mug rug Kerry made me in a swap - it blows me away every time I look at it. I dunno how she parted with it. And yeah I can EPP all day long but this kind of paper piecing scares the Sh1t out of me. But I do want to master it!
Those are the most clever designs!!!
Please enter me into the giveaway as I would love to try these out.hugs
The patterns are so darling. I'd love to try them.

I *love* their patterns! though I haven't yet tried paper piecing, I figure I will some day (soon)... I've always wanted a KitchenAid mixer, but I figure I may have to settle with the fabric version. (hmm... perhaps I could incorporate it into a pouch to hold my cheepie handheld mixer.)
like you I could EPP all day long, not so sure about paper piecing. Sounds like these are the patterns to start with! Please count me in :-)
I love paper piecing and these are so cute. Thanks for the giveaway.
