what's new American pussycat?

Cherry Limeade is a new bundle I made for Pink Castle fabrics. It's got a bit of everything I love -  a heap of text prints, sewing notions prints, kona solids, Jay McCarroll and a textured blender. 10 FQs and with 15% all bundles using the code BUNDLE15 this weekend, it's a tasty treat too. There are loads of new blogger bundles in stock but the code works on all bundles including the great value scrap packs , F8s packs,  and whatever other type of bundle you can see!

Solids are also on offer until November 26th using code SOLIDS15. 15% off all in stock solids (including the Henry Glass 108" extra wide quilt back fabrics, which are fab)

Notting Hill by Joel Dewberry has just arrived this week (the madras checks in this are to die for - I'm not a huge Joel Dewberry fan, but the madras checks are just fantastic basics), In My Room by Jenean Morrison (below - this line is fantastic, click to the shop and have a look at it if you're not familiar). There's FQ and half yard bundles of this - so you can use your BUNDLE15 code on those! Another new arrival is Marmalade by Bonnie and Camille (which is gorgeous, as always).

New in this week at the Fat Quarter Shop is Splendor 1920 by Bari J Ackerman for Art Gallery. I absolutely love this line to death. There are so many clever little details in the prints, and the overall feel of the collection is really classic and timeless, without being old fashioned.

A few of us on twitter were chatting about making this bag by Bari J too. Bari says you can pick the interfacings you use based on your sewing level, your machine and how you want the bag to function - so go lighter for a floppier casual bag or super heavy for a rigid weekend bag. Apparently - i am reliably informed (by 2 people and neither of them Bari) - it comes together really fast and is a nice easy bag pattern.

Other new arrivals include Juggling Summer by Zen Chic, cotton dots by Riley Blake, and simply color by Vanessa/V & Co.

Speaking of FQS - I am the next stop on their blog showcase for Simply Fat Quarters (their brand new book), and I have an amazing giveaway for you - so be sure to stop by on Monday for that!

Slendor 1920 is also a new arrival over at Sew Fresh Fabrics, along with alchemy (below)

and Thomas Knauer's latest offering, Frippery

There's also special prices on half yards - be sure to check out all of the new additions to that section and snap up a bargain like this Riley Blake key print for $7/Yard

I'm running low on text prints which means a new bundle purchase from Sew Me A Song is in order.

Whilst I'm there I could easily be tempted by these voiles in the sale section

and these Kaufman dots

and these fantastic shaded cottons by Riley Blake

Lola Pink Fabrics are now the sole Bernina dealer in their area, which is fantastic news for them.

They have had a lot of new arrivals in the past week or so, including Kate Spain's cuzco, Jenean Morrison's in my room, and Novella from Valori Wells (below).

They also have a lot of new stuff coming soon - so check out that section too!
