Over at Fabric HQ, Briar Rose is in stock
snap up a FQ bundle or individual cuts of this gorgeous collection
Also newly arrived at Fabric HQ are selected prints from Let's Pretend. These are so very cute, and great kids' fabrics.
I love this collection, then again, I love everything Denyse Schmidt designs so that's no surprise, is it?
Acacia from Tula Pink is another gorgeous collection that has just arrived
Just My Type is Patty Young's latest collection and you can find it at Backstitch
grab some great value klona cotton while you are there, I love these solids. I say it often, but they are really good value - a little cheaper than 'designer' cottons but definitely not lacking in the quality department. They're great and just £5.80 a metre.
Button up and stitch offer a flat rate of £2 for UK postage, which is great value for money. You can find out more details on their shipping options at the website.
Some very fun new arrivals at Button up and stitch this week too -
in red also
and some really pretty country calicos
I particularly like the navy. Calicos fell out of fashion for a while when big bold patterns (like Amy Butler's) became fashionable, and I think it's time they took the limelight again. These ditsy little florals are a great addition to any stash and just like repros or vintage prints they are far more timeless. They're also very useful - small scale prints can be used in so many ways, they don't need the planning that larger scale prints need.
Jesse at Sew and Quilt has a gorgeous blog that you should take a look at, although I warn you - it will make you want to buy most of the fabrics in her shop.
I'm loving these fabrics together
And that is it from me! I am hoping to squeeze a little sewing in this morning alongside my nurse duties for the husbeast (who had a bad day yesterday after trying to do a little too much on Friday and going to watch Ginge play football yesterday morning). Today will be a lazy day, we're off to the in-law's for lunch and he can just sit in a chair and watch football on the telly (since I cancelled sky sports at ours in a money saving moment).
Let's hope I can at least get a few stitches stitched in between the cups of tea and fetching stuff for him.
I hope you have a lovely Sunday too!
